Purchase Transaction

As a buyer in a real estate closing transaction, your main role at the closing is to review and sign the documents related to the mortgage loan. You may also be asked to provide these items at closing:

• Picture identification
• Homeowners’ insurance binder and one year
paid receipt
• Cashier’s check payable to yourself for the down
payment and closing costs (Please refer to the
Good Faith Estimate provided by mortgage lender.)
• Ten year history of past residences
• Any conditions or documents required by
mortgage lender

Selling Transaction
Our Real Estate Closing Division focuses on serving the needs of the seller and agent including For Sale By Owner. Our Real Estate Closer will discuss the details of the transaction with you and notify you of any specific documents you may need to provide at closing. Generally speaking, the seller in a real estate closing transaction is required to provide:

• Picture identification
• Social Security numbers
• Ten year past residences
• If married, both spouses are required to
attend closing
